Recap on the IDEF-2025

IDEF 2025 clearly demonstrated Turkey’s defense industry rising to global prominence, with a major onslaught of innovation in counter-UAV, autonomous platforms, munitions, and naval drones. It brought diplomatic, economic, and technology-driven momentum to the industry, particularly across Middle Eastern, African, Central Asian, and Eastern European markets.

Turkish UAV and precision weapons received a lot of international interest, backed by Turkey’s expanding role as a multi-directional defense partner. This exhibit showed the huge expansion of the Turkish defense industries, with over 1300 projects and over 100.000 finding employment in the defense industry.

The IDEF is a school example for modern weapons exhibition, its a great international gathering place.

This exhibition reinforced Turkish defense industry as:

  • A technological powerhouse in unmanned systems and precision weaponry
  • A strategic exporter expanding its influence in Africa, Central Asia, and the Middle East
  • A bridge between battlefield demand and innovation, with heavy emphasis on systems tested in live conflict zones

Looking forward to the 2027 event.
